My Pretty Things, founded in 2011, gained new ownership in November 2020.

My name is Lauren van Wyk, the proud owner of My Pretty Things.

I have always had a passion for helping people succeed in their businesses, which is why I am so passionate about using this platform to do just that! All our products are locally made in South Africa. We source high quality products, handmade with plenty of love and care!

Most of our clothing is made under the brand name Lollypops, also owned by myself. When my second son was born, I taught myself how to sew and discovered a talent I had never previously tapped into.

During the lockdown of 2020, I met a seamstress who had been retrenched. Her skill and attention to detail immediately drew my attention and I knew that I had  to do everything in my power to keep her on full time. This is still a work in progress, and we thank you for your support!
