Bespoke or made-to-order items will only be exchanged if faulty or damaged. We will happily exchange any non-bespoke products for other items provided by the same Seller.
We will gladly refund any purchase in the unlikely event that the item is damaged/faulty or not to a high quality standard. Please note, that due to the handmade nature and material characteristics of many products on My Pretty Things, variations in colour, and dimensions may occur.
If you are unhappy with any of the products bought from us, please notify us at firstname.lastname@example.org immediately. We will require you to send the products back to us within 7 days of notifying us by email. Please ensure you obtain proof of posting/courier details and that all items are returned unused in their original packaging.
Once we have received the products back from you, we will gladly replace your purchase or, in the case of unavailability, refund your purchase and original delivery costs. If the original order goes missing en route, and you haven’t received your parcel within 1 month of the order, we will resend the item to you at no additional cost.

Agreements of Sale
Placing a product in a shopping basket without completing the purchase cycle does not constitute an agreement of sale and/or an order for such product, and as such, My Pretty Things may remove such product from the shopping basket or if stock becomes unavailable. You cannot hold My Pretty Things liable if such product is not available when the purchase cycle is completed at a later stage.
An agreement of sale only comes into effect if and when (a) you electronically submit a properly completed order for one or more products in your shopping basket; and (b) payment is either authorised, or received by My Pretty Things in its bank account.
Termination of Sales & Cancellation of Orders
By My Pretty Things: My Pretty Things reserves the right, for purposes of preventing suspected fraud to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and/or to cancel any sale concluded between you and My Pretty Things, in whole or in part, on notice to you. My Pretty Things shall only be liable to refund products already paid by you (see My Pretty Things Refund Policy in this regard), and accepts no other liability, which may arise as a result of such refusal to process any order/sale.
By You: Save for certain exceptions and subject to certain charges, you are entitled to cancel any sale concluded on this Website within 7 days after date of receipt of the goods and to obtain a refund. You may also cancel a sale where delivery is delayed beyond the stipulated delivery date/timeframe (or where none is specified, beyond 30 days from the order date). Please read the Refund Policy for further details in this regard.
Purchases from My Pretty Things
My Pretty Things Products & Availability
Identification of My Pretty Things products: Product listings which do not specify the name of a third party seller, are products offered for sale by My Pretty Things.
Stocks of all goods on offer are limited. My Pretty Things shall take all reasonable efforts to ensure that when stock is no longer available, that offers thereof are discontinued. However, should My Pretty Things be unable to fulfill any order placed by you at the advertised price due to stock having sold out, My Pretty Things will notify you and you will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid by you for such product.
Subject to any exceptions expressly mentioned below, your payment for any products ordered from My Pretty Things must be made to us in any one of the following ways:
Credit card payments
At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and payment is collected immediately. If the bank’s authorization is not obtained, the order will be cancelled. My Pretty Things may carry out certain fraud checks with the cardholder or the cardholder’s bank, should My Pretty Things be unable to verify the validity of the transaction the order will be cancelled.
Bank deposits & Electronic Funds Transfer ( EFT)
If you select to pay via this method, instructions will be given on how to deposit money into My Pretty Things bank account and it would be subject to the following rules:
- the exact amount must be paid;
- the payment must be identified by supplying the order number and surname in the reference section of the deposit slip or on the electronic transfer;
- funds need to clear in My Pretty Things account for orders to be shipped
- no transfers may be made from ATM’s;
- no cheque deposits
- no bank deposits are accepted from outside the borders of South Africa; and
- your order will be cancelled if you choose to pay by bank deposit and the amount due is not paid within 5 business days.
You will be redirected to Zappers website where you will be able to scan the QR code using your phone to make payment for the order. When using your mobile phone, Zapper will open automatically for payment.
Using Zapper, Credit or Debit card a small fee will incur to recover our payment fees. No payment fees will incur for EFT transfers.
